The Art Exhibition

A page for
where I am enjoying  hosting the theme of....A world of Fantasy  this month.

This page has me  wishing I could visit a really exclusive Art Exhibition.... its good to dream.

I like to look around Charity shops for books and was so pleased to come across a  book of the Vienna Collection  Postcards.. I picked out  two by Ludwig Heinrich Jungnichel [Peacock and Insect Pair] The other was fashion by Mela Koehler
I used watercolours and spray paints for the backgound.
Then  I realised that they were far to big
to fit onto my  A4 page.
Technology to the rescue, photos taken, reduced the size, add a frame  and ready to hang the works of art.
Now my fantasy world  had me thinking what if some of the Painters models could stop by and see this modern art.
I think  Modigliani's model would have liked them, but not the other two, far to way out and modern for them.

Thank you for joining me today and I wonder what you think of my trip to the  art exhibition.

  9. Somehow I thought I has already left a comment, because I was here HOURS ago. Technology is a wonderful thing. I don't know much about PhotoShop, but I DO know how to reduce the pictures in size. Your art museum is wonderful. I wish I could join you there. I'm not sure. DaVinci was pretty forward thinking, so Mona may have approved. Regardless, I absolutely LOVE what you have created for your theme at Art Journal Journey.

  12. What an inspired idea for a page - I love the composition, with the gallery "visitors" gathered together looking rather bemused at the artwork on the walls!
