I had lots of ideas to think about for this theme

 and decided to share this digital journal page with you.

I have a steampunk style image of a hot air balloon,

 getting help from a couple of birds to get off the ground

 and fly over the  houses,

or maybe they are just catching a free ride to enjoy the scenery.

I enjoyed  creating this  digital Birthday card 

 using circular layers onto a square base card layer.

 I even managed  to find a digital flower image that looks quite round as well

 knowing that via the internet, they will get to their destination on time.

The background I started  this digital page with,

 as you can see in the next photo

  is what I would call a  'mop up' page.

Made when blotting up excess inks , from other projects ,pages, stencils etc.

I don't make many hands on pieces these days, but I still have  pages  waiting  in journals 

or in the box of useful stuff  that many of us will have in our craft space.

I keep some  photos of the hands, on   journal pages I have made in the past 

 and are still  ' work  in progress '

For this new theme, I have  created a digital scrapbook page. 

 My thinking behind this was about being invited to a special party

and wondering what to wear.

 So I had some fun looking at a few dresses and styles,  before deciding.

 It would be my choice,  not perfect,  but had to be comfortable to wear.

our next theme is, 

  ' Add some text'.

I layered pieces of scrap text of to create a base   for my digital  page, also I changed the base colour from blue to green

 

I really liked the main piece of text [ anonymous] 

that I had stored   in my digital files , using that before adding my main floral image.

'Its cold Outside'

When I first saw this topic, I did wonder how I could create a page for my digital scrapbook,

then a few days ago on looking out of the window, there was my answer.

Snow, gently falling, 

in some parts of the UK it was quite worrying if you needed to get out and about.

 I enjoyed just seeing it  through the window.
