Walking Boot?

Another hybrid page today that started off with a colouring in page.

It was my own base layer  for a journal page. 

I added some digital layers for the background, Removed quite a bit of the white  background digitally then added leaves and the words.

Sun flowers for me always seem to signify hot summer days. Maybe a walk in the country side and enjoy looking at the wonderful scenery.

But... what do you wear on your feet I wonder.

For me these days, its comfortable walking sandals

 or boots. I  do notice what other folk  wear and over the years have seen some rather out of place  footwear.

Flip flops on at hilly walk,

Wellies on a hot summer day,

High heels on a beach,

to name a few.

The folk all seemed to be enjoying the walks, so as long as they were comfortable, that was  all that mattered.

April Showers

This week the theme for the Three Muses Challenge is

April Showers.

Another hybrid page, on the left is my page before it had digital additions.

A splashed and sprayed base,  random stamping of some rather large rain drops and Mr Umbrella man  sheltering some pretty spring flowers with his umbrella.

I will go over and join in at Art Journal Journey as well where this months theme is ...

.A Magical Mystery Tour.

We should never let a bit of rain stop us from going out.  My mystery trip would be to see  the effects of rain.  especially in the evenings,. The  surface water lying  on the ground and in puddles seems to glow, shimmer and perhaps sparkle as the light catches it,  from the street lamps or cars. or even the moonlight when you live in the countryside.

On the right is the digital page I made last night, again the rain drop look huge, I have't fathomed out how to get a smaller light shower effect as yet. I will keep trying.

No not us, we are just having fun and saying that wearing glasses is ''COOL''.

Had some fun this afternoon creating this hybrid  journal page for  

Art Journal Journey.....

where Linda  wants us to use this theme....'.50 Shades of Red.'

I also realised that if my   images were  to wear some

 Spectacles

 I could join the folk at the 

Three Muses Challenge.

On the left is how the base layer was coloured and stencilled.

I wasn't sure what to add next .

So it is waiting for more inspiration.

 In the meanwhile I added  digital elements after taking the photo. {see side bar for information].

I have added a Streetscape silhouette to my digital page,

the base layers  are all similar  shades, to give the look of torn,  brown paper

Elsie would love to be a famous Ballerina when she grows up.

She even has her favourite dancer framed on  the wall in the barn, the place she can be in her own
Make Believe world and dance for her audience of  furry friends.

These two digital pages were created in my Craft Studio, using  a mixture of my own/found
and Mischief Circus kits.

The Wendy House

Did you have a Wendy house or a secret den in your garden?

I remember well gran, putting a large quilt over a table to me to use as my hide away.

I wonder what  adventure Wendy will be going on today,  when she opens the door to her secret world.

She has her bag packed with treasures and her teddy tucked under her arm.

Two of Teddy's friends are waiting to welcome  them,

 they cannot wait for the magic and make believe, to begin.
