Today's 'Colours in my world'......
are beige and brown or maybe coffee and cream.
To me these are not dull shades,
especially when I can relate them to a favourite drink.
My tea would usually have milk , coffee would need cream and a sprinkle of chocolate,
but never sugar,
I wonder what would be the colour of your drink today?

I am also saying hello to friends over at
where T stands for Tuesday and we are all welcome with a tea related post.
My tea cups are all stacked and the kettle has just boiled .
The base layers of this page are mainly stencils coloured with distress oxides.
Die cut cups and saucers, material scraps and a napkin. There were a few digital additions, the words and sugar lumps.
This is my cup of choice today.
Earl Grey, so no milk addded to this cuppa.
As you can see I was working on the computer, editing my photos for the page.
Thank you for calling in to see me.
Happy T day everyone.
Fabulous Yvonne, love the teacups added...x [aNNie]

ReplyDeleteMy drink today is some hibiscus iced tea so the color is glorious purple-red. I've made it in a thermal cup and will just refill it as the day go on. Your page is great-and I am with you, creams and brown look good together and make a great color choice. Hope it's a great T day so far. Enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs-Erika

This is wonderful, Yvonne. Both tea and coffee lovers can relate to this beautiful art. I agree never any sugar in either tea or coffee, although I might turn down the milk on occasion for tea. Some tea just tastes better plain, I think. I really, really love that you found a way to combine AJJ and T this week. You are such a wonderful host at AJJ. I hope to join you soon. Thanks for sharing this beauty AND your tea with us for T this Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteLove the soft blue and brown tea cups. Very vintage. I take my tea with a splash of half and half, and one sugar though I have since switched to Stevia. I take Earl Grey with milk and sugar too. If you foam the milk and add a dash of Vanilla to Earl Grey, it's called a London Fog. Happy T Day
ReplyDeletegood morning, I love love your art pages today! both the coffee and the cups for tea-excellent!
ReplyDeleteHappy T Day Kathy
What pretty pages. I would like to have cups and saucers just that shade of blue.

I love your beiges and browns especially with that pop of blue from the teacups - perfect! The napkin images are wonderful and those material scraps add such lovely interest and texture too 😁. I really like your quote, everything seems better with a brew ...lol 😉. Enjoy your tea and wishing you happiness this T Day! J 😊
ReplyDeleteAlmost always coffee and not tea and always cream and sugar ... something about stacked tea cups.. i just love them..great color too... Happy T day! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteGorgeous page, Yvonne! I agree with you about neutral colors. Though I've added some colors to my wardrobe at the insistence of others, I really feel best in beige, black and white. My hubby says "boring." lol
ReplyDeleteI love the die cup tea cups. Any page I see with those catches my eye.
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
I like your butterfly cup -so suitable for the season- and Earl Grey is my husband's favorite kind of tea :)
