True Colours for AJJ


I couldn't decide which  ''Colour in my World '' to choose today
for my Art Journal Journey page




So its a collage using  paler  colours  tones ,
 papers, some Jane Davenport snippets
washi tape. stencils,
with raised embossing.
Distress oxide was my colouring medium, with a highlight of gilding wax.
I had no plan in my head,  but  paper glue and a pair of scissors was a good starting point..
The page you see on  the right ended  up with a few digital additions after I had taken the photo.

    I don't know if you are familiar with the book called True Colors, where 15 artists create art using a specific color. One of them, the project organizer, is Lynne Perrella. There is a definite feel for this journal page you created today that could have originated in this book. You can see the book on Amazon, here:

    This pale colors go very well with the face images and the stenciling added the exact amount of texture as well - beautiful with the hint of golden gilding wax! The final digital touches are also fitting so well!
    You are the Queen of the colours this month Yvonne!

    I added my digital piece already to the linklist (142) - I fear I had mixed up some entries as I was fixing some uncorrect linked entries recently. Hope that all the links are now correct.
