It all began with a bit of blue... for AJJ

A hybrid journal spread for
 Art Journal Journey

and my theme of
Colour in my World

This is how the page began.
The base coloured with an old  dried our ink pad that I spritzed with water, I also sprayed the page so added a sprinkle of brusho powders.
I   quite liked the resulting colour shades, next came some stamping, feathers and   what looks like weeds, but I am sure they have a name.

So after the photos were taken it was off to the computer to have some digital additions [notes in my sidebar]

Today's pages   started off with
  shades of blue,
but I soon realised that I needed more brighter, happier  colours in my world today.
So, I added  a colourful bird and bright feathers and immediately my page looked a lot more cheerful.

I hope you are all having a happy day.

  13. What a great way to use up the old ink pad and it looks lovely with the bursts of colour from the brushos 😁. Glad you found those happier brighter colours to add to the blue and you chose some wonderful digital images with the postcard, bird and feather images 😀. I love the quote too - perfect! Sorry I'm late to the AJJ party, we have family staying so I've found I haven't had much spare time. Made time last night when everyone was in bed to post my latest page and join your fabulous theme 😉. It looks like I'll be catching up with you before bed or early in the morning, if I can stay awake that long! Hope you had a great weekend, thinking of you and wishing you and your family well! J 😊
