Back to using my kraft paper journal again today.
I have to admit to enjoying leaving some space on the page.
Gesso base again with some random stamped leaves, it kind of looks a bit misty to me.
I added some lace and a cut out material flower.
The found relatives must have a story to tell, I hope they share it with their little sister.

I love your Kraft journal pages Yvonne, with your favourite white gesso, they make for a super background! This is another fabulous vintage page with a great story to tell indeed!

ReplyDeleteI love this and it does look misty - great effect. I think everyone has a story to tell, even though we usually think our own story is uninteresting... or boring! These are great images and you really could let your mind run riot, couldn't you? Love the way you sat the little girl on the lace - she looks so demure.

As always, I was enamored by this latest journal page. Add a bit of lace or crochet and I am hooked. I like that you didn't cover the entire page with paint or gesso. I think it looks so much better. BUT, that sentiment is the absolute BEST for this entry. Thank you so much for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey. It fits Erika's theme perfectly.

Love the Kraft paper background with the Gesso on - it does look kind of misty/dreamy and sits so well with the images. I love how you placed the youngest sister on the lace, gives her some ground.
