Under the sea

Do you believe  there are mermaids living under the oceans.
One thing I have learn't this month   creating my pieces for AEDM is not to spend to much time thinking of how I want  a page to look like and be a bit flexible with the outcome.
If it doesn't look finished off  to me. I am able to add a digital extra,
like the ship and splashes  on this page.
The mermaid I tore from a JD tissue, stamped the words .
As for the base.....gesso, random stamping and some stencils.
Thank you for calling in, I hope you have a great day.

I will be joining.....
AEDM day 25

  6. Love the mermaid, fan page Yvonne. I'm the worlds worst at overthinking my pieces and then I usually end up not liking them!

  7. I like this mermaid and her sea ""background" a lot Yvonne. Sounds like you've done more than just making art, lesson learning art making is even better. I can tell from your journal pages you've been on an amazing roll. Happy new week. Hugs-Erika

  10. I think we sometimes overthink and overwork a page, but going with your gut feeling often works so much better. This is proof. It looks great and needs nothing more.
