The theme for this weeks challenge at
Take a Word.......is Time
Its also Tuesday where we gather together at
with a drinks related post.
So I have created this digital collage page with one of my favourite sentiments.
In my home.......there is always time for tea......and everyone is always welcome to call in.
I have been enjoying creating pages on a daily basis this month. This one on the left is still work in progress as I cannot decide how much more I want to add.
A bit of a short Tuesday post from me as I have been coping with a really bad flu type bug, coughing and sneezing, you wouldn't think I had a flu jab a few weeks ago.
I hope you all have a lovely day today and thank you for stopping by.
AEDM day 20
Wonderful page Yvonne. Sorry you are feeling poorly. The flu jab doesn't protect us from colds and coughs, unfortunately. I have had a bad cold this past week, too, so know what it feels like! Happy T Day, look after yourself, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeletethe little bird heard your call and visits you for tea:) awesome digital collage, yvonne!
ReplyDeletei also had a flu jab and got a (not so heavy) cold at the weekend. but i think these are different viruses. annoying anyway - take care!! happy t-day ♥
This is a gorgeous page Yvonne. The little bird and the clock make it so unique. And I am jealous you have been so inspired. I do well when I am home like on the weekend, but lately when I get home from work and it is dark I have a hard time getting creative. Think it the cold and dark because usually that's not the problem. Have a wonderful T day my friend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteOh and I forgot to mention hope you feel better soon also!
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful Time page! You created some lovely layers and the little bird sat on the teacup looks fabulous π. I hope you are feeling much better soon, Happy T Day wishes! J π x

The bird in your art reminds me of my society finches. So sweet! I like your lovely dandelion mug. I hope you're well soon! Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteI always love your digital art and this is over the top. I am in total awe of how it looks like you spent hours gathering the ephemera and adding it to a favorite tea cup. This is beauty beyond words. Thank you for sharing it with us for T this Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to read about your illness. Sounds a bit like what I'm experiencing right now, too. Get better soon, please.
Wonderful Yvonne! Finally I find some time to visit you here. Sorry I don't make it so often (because of my stressful work).

Greetings Carola
Love your "Time for Tea" page, Yvonne. Perfect for T-day. The page you're working on looks very cool too.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry the flu bug got you. I hope it's mild. I think the flu shot should help with that.

What a wonderful page Yvonne! So sorry to hear you feel bad! Take good care of you my friend! Get well soon! Hugs, Susi
ReplyDeleteAnd another - delicious colours, some of my favourites, and in such pretty, vintage, muted tones. So impressed that you've been on a daily-creating habit this month - mine has slipped so far lately. I'm really looking forward to re-shaping life so that it can take centre stage again. Do hope you're feeling somewhat recovered.

Well done you for doing a daily bit of creating. It's good for the soul.
ReplyDeleteYour tag is lovely. And of course the thought behind it even better. It's nice to know your house is always open for people to come and have a cup of tea (and attention, and a listening ear, and a shoulder to cry on etc) So important.
I'm sorry to hear you now have a stinking cold. Not nice. The flu jab does not protect you from the common cold.I hope you feel better soon.
Happy belated T-Day,
Lisca
A beautiful creation and the journal page on your desk looks very interesting already!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon! The number of people I know that have had the flu jab and then get the flu gets bigger and bigger... I have never had the jab and have not had the flu for years.... just saying. I really hope you get over it soon!!
I love your collage elements. Great page design!
