Tic, Tac. Toe.

I have made a Tag for the
'tic.tac.toe'
 theme over at Tag Tuesday

I chose the bottom line as my guide.....
Stenciling............. a snowflake stencil on the base
Die Cut.......................... the Fir tree
Lace.........from my stash box.

I have made this second tag using the waste piece from the die cut Fir tree

I will also join in at AEDM day 28

  1. wonderful pieces, both of them! good idea to let the fir go over the edge. this fir tree is an evergreen... literally and as a design, too. and how fun: just now i´m having these die cuts on my desk, but first i´m making a big mess with the acrylic background i chose to make, not sure this was a good idea;) will see what i come up with...

  2. Ooh, lovely Yvonne. I love the first one because it will make a perfect gift tag and it looks so beautifully wintry. I love designs that go over the edges. But the second one is a great use of the die cut leftovers. I often save mine and use them again (if I remember I've saved them, lol) but I never thought of using postage stamps - genius! The edging gives it another dimension. Fab work.

  6. I am in awe of both tags. The second one shows you don't waste a thing at your home, and it is fabulous. You are SO talented, Yvonne and you inspire me.

  8. These two tags are terrific, Yvonne. I would have them hanging from a hook over Christmas. I like the way you made the second following on from the first. I've never made a tag so maybe these will inspire me to make a Christmas one to hang from a hook here, especially as Moo-Mania's theme is now "Trees".
