Remember when.......

Happy 1st of November, where have all the months gone this year.

The lovely folk over at Art Journal Journey

announced a new theme today chosen by  Erika from Bio art girl
....Vintage or Modern.
I am enjoying using my latest journal which is approx  6 x 6 inches  and just passes this challenge blogs rules.[thank you Elizabeth for mentioning this to me]
The kraft card base is simply swiped with white gesso, random stamped with a very old clock stamp.
The time piece and leaves are  die cuts.  TH found relatives are my vintage family addition.

On my visits to blog friends today I have read at Bleubeard and Elizabeths blog about ...

this sounded  interesting so I popped over and will join in .

Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are always very welcome here.

  4. This is beautiful Yvonne. I love the fall leaves-they do look just like the leaves do here. And the clock is perfect. Glad your piece just fits the rules. And that is a very nice family. I think back all the time when my daughter was young-now 27- and ask myself that question. Thanks so much for joining in at AJJ! It is always appreciated. Hugs-Erika

  5. Lovely art, Yvonne, and definitely vintage. The background stamped with little clocks is terrific and the die cut clock is just perfect. The "found" family look as if they are going on a journey. I remember these coats, mine was pink.

  8. Oh Yvonne, I adore this beautiful page. I love the clocks in the background and the beautiful die cut clock, too. It's gorgeous. Chris sent me some of those die cut leaves, so I recognized them from when I used them myself. Yours are much prettier than mine, though. I LOVE that you chose vintage for your first entry using Erika's theme at Art Journal Journey. It is simply perfect. And when I saw your name at AEDM, I was overjoyed. Thanks for taking this challenge with me, too. I think we are going to LOVE it!

  13. I love how you can put those TH figures together to form a family such as yours. They look so real and believable. Love your clock diecut and the leaves but one of the things I like the most is how you stamped those clock faces within the large one. What a great idea and what a super page.
    Hugs, Neet x
