 ....... taking a walk through a farmyard.

Its a noisy place with the ducks and the other farmyard birds are in full voice today.

I think  that old mother hen is trying to quieten them down a bit.

For me I  don't mind  these country sounds, but at one of the  local farm,  the  Geese are quite fond of chasing folk through the farmyard and they do make loads of noise.

The idea for this page came from this illustration for February

 in  the kitchen calendar .

The page started off with splashed watercolour and Brusho background and pieces from a napkin.

After photos were taken, I was able to add the words and other images in my digital program.

The resulting hybrid page  at the top.

I have to say I  quite like this original page as well.

Maybe  birds like this could be seen in a warmer country than mine .
