Out and About........
in the countryside for
I think living in a rural area makes me accept what is going on in the countryside and take it for granted.
The seasons change, weather makes huge differences to what we see.
So I have made a note to myself to try and remember to take my camera with me
when I go out.
This page began with a painted base layer, a lovely card [shop bought] but sent to me with love, knowing that I would be able use it again in some way.
As you can see it is a hybrid page today, with digital additions,
all the information is in my sidebar.
Thank you for stopping by to see where my outing has taken me today.
Your visit is really appreciated.
Beautiful page Yvonne a fab idea - such a lovely dreamy landscape too.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to always have a camera with us :) I always try and have a good small one with me
whenever possible - depending on how much else I have needed to cram into to the bag ha ha :)
Part cloud and part sunshine day - better than grey at least.
Have a lovely day - Gill xx
Wonderful page Yvonne, with lovely colours and great additions. I never go out without my camera, sometimes I even take 2, I am a bit crazy. Here the sun is shining and I took lots of photos while out and about. Enjoy your day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteA lovely page Yvonne, and a great way to recycle the card,I've got a good camera on my phone, but forget to use it.

I live in the country too and it so amazing to me to see how things change most every day but sometimes never change at all. :) Love your piece today Yvonne. The card piece looks wonderful on the rest of your page and I think you used it so smartly! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteMy camera is mostly there and her picture is beautiful with the map in it!

This is a wonderful page Yvonne, love the thinking behind it too. This morning I was talking to a neighbour and saying I had meant to go down to the churchyard and take some photos of the snowdrops, of course they are over now but the daffodils are coming out so made myself a promise I will get down there with my camera !
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful page with fabulous colours!!! The card you added is so lovely.

Pretty scenery page for a country side outing. We have lots of corn and bean fields around us, which I don't think much of. But I do like the fields of Winter Wheat, will have to try and remember to take some photos of them.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how different the finished journal page is, and how the original card started out. It is a total transformation, and shows your great digital skills.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I always take my camera with me, whether I use it or not!
