Play days.

I had a bit of a play day on Saturday,  when we woke up we had some 'snow',  so it was a stay in and keep warm sort of day.
. Fortunately the snow didn't last but the cold did.

My first share is a page in my new kraft card journal.
A gesso base a bit of stamping I stamped the face onto rice paper that had been used to mop up some oxide ink.[Stamps used ALL*Create and Lynne's Affirnations]

This got me into my comfort zone as I was waiting for this page to dry out

Which will  be added to Linda's theme over at
Creature Comforts.

The same stamp as on my first page, lots of stencils, some raised with paste.  and a lot of warm shades.  I love adding colour and this brightened  the cold, day in my part of the world.

Of all these three photos this last one is the closest the the actual colours, I guess its coming up winter and this won't be the last  time I say this about my photos.

Thank you for stopping by to see me today, you are always welcome here.

  4. Great pages Yvonne. It looks like even though it might not have been nice outside, you had a wonderful day. I love the bits of cloth and the paste designs which created such beautiful texture on both pages. Hope it's been a good Sunday. Hugs-Erika

  5. I love the warmth of bright yellow. It certainly brightens my day. It's a beauty and I love the added texture from the molding paste. The two colors you used were perfect. Thanks for joining us once again at Art Journal Journey.

  6. I forgot to mention. I am not Bleubeard's mother. His mother had white fur and lived in a barn. I'm just his caregiver, pooper scooper, food dispenser, and he has trained me well!!!

  7. I love the first one - great with the oxides on the tissue - looks so good - very clever and this warm and bright spread is superb! A wonderful stamp! It's cold and dark and rainy here as well so your page brought happiness to me! Thank you and thank you for yet another fabulous entry linked to the AJJ's October collection dear Yvonne! Happy start of the new week ahead! Hugs, Susi
