Have I gone mad?

My first share today is a journal spread for

and Linda's theme
Creature Comforts
I can  relate some of  this page to the 'creature'  part of the theme.
My little creature seems to be in love with something, surely it couldn't have been the insects.
Lots of paint, stencils, crackle paste and stamps were used in its creation.
Was I having fun....yes
Was I in my comfort zone.....yes
The words were computer generated.

.................................................

I am also  sharing a digital journal page today[ digital notes in my sidebar]
and a quick reminder of the
challenge theme at
Black White and one Colour
There is still time to join in this theme the information can be found here.

Thank you for calling in to see me today, your comments are always appreciated.

  2. I'm always impressed with the way your mind works. That journal page for AJJ is SO cute and clever. I loved how you were in your comfort zone and it showed, too. So glad you shared it with us for Art Journal Journey today, dear Yvonne.

But that wasn't all. The beauty of the digital entry was out of this world. I think black, white, and red go better together than any other combinations. This was awesome, delicate, and very feminine.

  5. Your first page is so much fun Yvonne. I love it's fall and even Halloween feel-not tradition but surely a little spooky. :) And those red flowers pop off the second page. Black and white is so dramatic and for some reason red really jumps at you when against that background. It's a beautiful piece. Hope your week is going well. hugs-Erika

You not just have rocked your hosting last month - but you rock this month again at AJJ! Thank you for all your support dear Yvonne!

I wish you already a good start into the weekend!
The week flew away again... can't believe it!
But I think the best time passes quickest!
    So it is o.k.!

  7. I've always loved that AIW Quote... feels like my moto of the past 10 days hee hee! Sets the scene for a great journal page.
The Black and white TioT theme is fabulous, so sorry i've missed out on it. The colours make for a striking piece of art, reminds me of my bedroom when I was a teenager. Awesome.

  8. Fabulous pieces Yvonne - the words on the first one made me chuckle :)
and as always your digital atwork is really beautiful.
I'm so sorry for only making one piece for your AJJ theme last month - short story, have been having one huge declutter
in whole of house after nearly falling over stuff in craft room.
    Hope all ok with you.
