First of all a reminder for the current challenge theme over at
which is Sun/Moon/Stars.
There is still another week for you to call in and join us.
Today I have taken a step into thinking about Christmas cards.
This is a digital one which could be printed out or send by email.

.......................................
I would like to say thankyou to everyone who left us good wishes on Saturday.
We did have a lovely day and I have made a journal spread
in my digital/hybrid journal to remember the occasion spent with our family.
The base used is napkins torn and stuck down across the journal pages.

There was lots of laughter, too much food, a few glasses of wine and many cups of tea and coffee..
The day ended with an Indian Banquet meal . Solomons is an authentic Indian restaurant
and take my word for it the food is delicious.

Sunday was a day for recovering and getting back to normality.
Now I am off to visit with friends at......
where T stands for Tuesdays
A piece of Victoria sponge with a filling of raspberry jam and butter icing.,
together with a cup of refreshing tea, is a very welcome treat for me.
We don't normally have cake through the week
as I have no will power to have just a small piece.
Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are very welcome to join me with my tea time treat.

Glad you had such a great anniversary and were able to celebrate. Love the journal page you made, and the pretty piece for TIOT. Could I have some coffee with my Victoria sponge, please! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

ReplyDeleteI adore that gorgeous TioT winter card with the partial moon showing. It's a true gem. I'll be joining you tomorrow with my entry.
ReplyDeleteYou are so blessed to have such a loving home and a wonderful husband. I'm still impressed with the big 5 oh! Those are my favorite color roses, too. That was a great LO you created with the bubbly and all the wonderful other memories that you shared that day.
I've not heard of Victoria sponge cake, but it sounds decadent and I would love to try it. Looks to me like you restrained more than I would have. It's a gorgeous setting with the roses and tea, too.
Thanks for sharing your amazing art and tea with us for T this Tuesday. It was a wonderful tribute.

Yes on the dangers of having cake in the house :-)
Your Victoria Sponge (Love the name!) looks tempting and delicious.
Happy T Day oxo
Your collage is a great way to remember a wonderful weekend. I think I would enjoy a piece of that cake. I would just have to have one slice and then have someone remove it from the vicinity though or else I'd be nibbling all day.
