Gothic blooms for Tea Day

A hybrid page made just for fun while drinking many cups of tea during its making.

Which takes me to visit
Bleubeard and Elizabeth
and join the folk for T  day.

This page has been waiting quite a while, to be completed.
A stencil of some bricks and lots of green spray paint.

More splashes of colour added and the stamping started. [Paper Artsy stamps]

I did say this page took a few tea beaks to help its on its way.
You can see I have some flowers stamped and in the process of being fussy cut, before I coloured with my water colour pens.

When I had stuck down the flowers  it still seemed as if  I wanted to add more.
A real problem for me as-- Less--- is not a good word in my crafting vocabulary.
So the answer for me was to go  digital after I had taken this photo, this way I wouldn't spoil what I had already created.
But maybe on reflection,
I like this version as well.

Thank you for stopping by, for a cuppa with me.
You are most welcome.

If you have called in from Tiot's, my Scary post will be following soon..

  3. Both versions are beautiful, but to be really honest I prefer the original. The good thing is, you can now still use it. Thanks for this post as it explains to me how you actually work with your hybrid creations, something I have never really tried before, but it is very clever!

  14. I'm so impressed with your lovely art today. Those copics are fantastic and you blended them beautifully. Fussy cutting those flowers was a chore, but well worth it. You can be really proud of BOTH pieces. I loved what you said about less not being a word in your crafting vocabulary. It makes sense, because you are often over the top (and that's a REALLY GOOD thing).

Thanks for sharing your tea and your gorgeous art with us for T this Tuesday. I like both editions.

  15. I forgot to mention, I don't know how to remove your unwanted entry, either, so don't feel bad. That's why, when we had the anniversary and the potential for sending an ATC to someone, I used InLinkz so everyone could remove their unwanted post. With Mr. Linky, we just have to put up with the problem because I'm clueless, even though I've asked for help in the past. Seems Brent (Mr. Linky) isn't forthcoming with the answer.
