A journal page for Valerie's theme this month.. at
There should be more days this month as I have really enjoyed this theme.
October--- the colours on the tree have changed and the greens that are left .
all seem to be dull with tinges of yellow.
They crackle and crunch as they get trodden into the ground.
This journal page was sprayed with water colours,
The remnants from a couple of home made mixes. Next a bit of random stamping.
The bird on the fence stamped directly to the page, but my owl had to be stamped onto tissue.
The quote was a digital addition.
Thank you for taking time to call in and see me,
your visits are always very much appreciated.
Fun page, and the quote was one my teacher always quoted at me in school - I wonder why?? Thank for another great page for AJJ, Yvonne, your support is very welcome and much appreciated. Have a nice weekend, hugs, Valerie

What fabulous page! I love that rhyme! It has been a great theme for sure! The leaves here have started falling with the damp weather we have had, but still plenty of colour this afternoon when we went out for a walk! Hugs, Chris
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed this theme too. And all the owls you've shown. This page is a lot of fun Yvonne. We've had rain all day and the leaves are coming down. Still have lots of oaks clinging to their branches, but they are getting brown so it won't be long. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLove the old wise owl, looks awesome. Colour combination is fabulous on the terrific creation.xx{aNNie}
ReplyDeleteI've never heard that quote/poem before, but it certainly is truthful. I actually thought of Erika when I saw the owl, because she has shown her love for them, too.
ReplyDeleteIt was very windy here yesterday, and many leaves fell to the ground. I was surprised at how many were still green, but most brown. We don't get pretty colored leaves here. I've decided (think I mentioned this to Erika) I'm not raking again until the last leaf has left the last tree in my neighborhood.
A favourite quote of my maternal grandmother's! Most suitably interpreted I must say :-D
