Use your imagination for AJJ

I have had a play  and made a hybrid journal page for Susi's theme over at
Collage. but no leaves, wings or faces.

So why Hybrid.....
for a start this page has some feathery leaves  on it, so for sure, not allowed.

So I altered the colours in my digital program and looked around to see what I could  find to cover the forbidden item

Looking through my stored photos and images, I found this photo of a card I had made a couple of years ago.
Ideal  to cover the leaves,
change its colour add more layers of images etc
The result is the collage you see at the top of the post.

Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are welcome and your visit is always appreciated.

Digital additions from
mischief Circus kits
and my own stored ones.

  4. I think that is a great play for AJJ. I love the mechanical feel it has. I also like you didn't go steampunk, just mechanical, though steampunk is fun too. Happy Sunday. Hugs-Erika

  5. Very clever way to cover the forbidden item. Had it been me, I would have needed to use scissors and glue. Your digital skills always impress me. I agree with Erika about the mechanical feel the end product has. It's amazing because it started out very feminine before you added the digital elements.

  10. I always like to see when you start with an older page, and then change it dramatically. This is marvellous and I like all the different pieces of technology (not sure if that is the right word). It's very unusual.

  17. What a transformation, you would never guess how the page started out it looks so different! I love the grey and blue colour paletter they go beautifully with the cogs and images you have used. To me it looks like a snapshot of part of the mind reeling away with thoughts and knowledge - fantastic :-). Enjoy your week! J :-)
