Counting the days

Many of our children will now be counting down the days until the school holidays begin.
In the UK it is usually a two week holiday at this time of the year and if they are young it will be time to enjoy themselves with no homework. No Mathematics to work on
and no spelling tests on the weeks chosen words.
So this was my thoughts when I was making this page for the current
 theme  Words and Numbers.

On the left is a photo of the stamped  base page.
As you will see this is what I used as the starting point of my hybrid digital page.

If I did my own count down to the 25th
I would be hoping for a couple of extra days to prepare.

I hope you are all having a good day and thank you for taking time to call in here.

  1. Fabulous page! I'm loving the number stamp that you used for the background 😁. I'll take a few extra days to prepare for Christmas too ...lol 😉. Happy Sunday! Hugs, Jo x

  6. This brings back memories of when I was in school. Even in grad school, we got two weeks off between semesters. This was absolutely brilliant, dear. It's also perfect for your theme at Art Journal Journey. I love the digital layering you created.

  7. I can tell you the kids here are also counting down the days. Teachers too, but I won't say that too loudly as it might make the kids even less interested. Smile. Nice they get 2 weeks in your area. Here we have to go back Jan. 2. I do love your page. That number background is amazing. The digital additions look awesome too. Hugs-Erika

    Great work!
Though the reminder is a spoiler, too, at least for kids, I get it ;-)

  13. GreAT background, Yvonne. We are twice meeting to eat with family but not on Christmas Eve or Day. And with no grandkids and we give cash presents, I'm a bit over it before it even happens, lol. I'll probably be calmer once our daughter has her wedding. xoxo
