I am sharing this traditional Christmas card, the stamp is an old one, but it is a favourite of mine. I embossed the image and simply layered the card. Getting a good photo was another issue.
It was a shiny kraft card base and oh did it not want its photo taken, even the green satin ribbon has an un-natural shine. Still it is winter and we seem to be using the electric lights most of the day.
Thank you for calling in, I hope you all have a good day today.

Lovely Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week!
Gorgeous card Yvonne. That cork background is really interesting and works so well. I like the stamped image too. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI can see that this is beautiful card Yvonne! The light this time of year is usually like it is today! We had a great sunny day yesterday but had to go shopping so missed a lot of it! Your Santa looks fabulous! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteWow, what a stunning card! I love the richness of the green and gold colours and the Father Christmas stamp looks amazing, I can see why it's one of your favourites 😁. Happy December and wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmastime too! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteSuch a 'Christmassy' Christmas card Yvonne! Hard to get good pics with the weather being as bad as it is but I can see why this stamp is one of your faves! x
ReplyDeleteA very elegant card, I love the texture of the embossing powders on the stamp they make it more special. Hugs, María.
ReplyDeleteThe light hasn't been good, has it? This looks like a good old Inkadinkado stamp...I recognise it from somewhere, anyway. Very traditional and very heartwarming, Yvonne. I do sympathise re the light quality affecting photos, though. Love the greens. Cath x
ReplyDeleteHe's a lovely Santa image, no wonder he's one of your favourites and he looks good embossed in the gold. I think we're all having trouble taking photos at the moment, I know I try taking a photo in every room to find the best one!
