Hello everyone and to friends from
Bluebeard and Elizabeths where its
T stands for Tuesdays
we are always made very welcome with a drinks related post.
for Jo's theme
Hello Springtime.
A base started with shades of green inks and watercolours, some random stamping, a stencil to use up some paste from another project.
I love how this gal is holding her cuppa, I think she is enjoying her tea. As its tea day with friends I thought it was a nice sentiment to use. Friends mean a lot to me, my family I choose for myself.
I did try to fussy cut a tree to add to the page, oooops....
a few unmentionable words later and I took to the digital program I use. This tree is a piece of fancy ribbon and some woolen spirals. Which I will replicate later, in real life to complete the page .
We had [say this quietly] some sun yesterday, so I managed to get a few photos from my garden. Its quite messy after the winter. but there is lots of green showing through.
The daffodils have taken quite a battering in the winds we have had recently, I went higher up the garden for this photo, if I had taken the shot from the patio, it would only have shown the leaves.
There is bit of a slope in this part of the garden, but its not as steep as it looks here.
The bird feeder basket needs a refill as the birds called in earlier for a morning feast.
Where I didn't expect to see any colour I found some on this shrub next to the fence starting to flower.
Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are always very welcome here.

Yvonne, the first thing to strike me about your friendship page was the fabulous spiral string or wood tree. So original! The next thing that struck me was the sentiment about the family you choose. In part, I felt you meant us - the T-ladies and I'm honored to be a member. Your photos are lovely as always. Though it may not feel like it, it sure looks like spring where you are.
ReplyDeleteHappy spring and happy T-day! Eileen x
This is such a striking post, everything looks stunning...Queen of digital...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your reply re the pages I do have a little hard drive which is new and will use as well. I agree the photos never print up nice.xx
I will be away from April 10th until end of May, so although I will have scheduled posts I can't comment on your postings...xxx
DeleteLooks like spring is certainly making its way to your home. I love those daffodils despite the wind damage.
ReplyDeleteYour page is lovely. I love the texture that you added with the tree.
That bunny mug is adorable!
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
Beautiful Spring Journal page. Happy T Day and Spring!
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful page and sentiment Yvonne. And I thought you wrapped up real threads to form the tree-wow. It's looking like Spring by you. We've had such weird weather for so long none of the spring flowers are coming out, nor are many things even budding. Even the forsythia bushes still are completely bare:(
ReplyDeleteHappy T day!
Beautiful! I love the tree of string and the circles on the ground. You are so creative!!
ReplyDeleteI'm back and will play catch-up as best I can. This has been a very trying time being without internet, but I HOPE this has been the cure. I'll explain on Wednesday, because it's too convoluted to explain here. Thanks for visiting while I was offline. It means the world to me. I'm so, so thankful for you, dear Yvonne.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your bunny mug. I also adore the lady holding the cup of tea under the tree. You do digital SO well. It's a great addition to Jo's theme at Art Journal Journey and fits well with T this Tueday, too.
