Look for the flowers

Well we had snow again today, but thankfully it  hasn't lasted for long.
So I was able to spend some time in my craft room, crating a page that looks a little warmer and promises me that spring may come soon. Although the TV weather forecasters say  there is more snow to come tonight for us.

This was how the page began, with a  yellow mop up base, some stencils. The flowers were fussy cut, then water coloured.

I will link my page  to these challenges

for  Jo's theme Hello Springtime.

also tp.......

the theme is...
Close to Nature

Apologies about my comments, there is still  seems to be gremlins about.
Sometimes my comments don't post on folks blogs and then sometimes only a portion of what I write shows up and the post makes no sense.  Add to that a few spelling mistakes like sss ... showing for ...xxx or k's instead of l's  etc  Crazy  days.!! is a mild way to describe  it.

Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are always very welcome here.

  1. Lovely page, Yvonne. Great flowers and dragonfly on a beautiful yellow background. I love how you sewed the body of the dragonfly. Great inspiration. Kisses, my friend.

  2. We also had snow today and I was glad it was Sunday so I could just relax at home. I love your flower page today and that Monet quote. I think he said that. But what do I know? The yellow is so pretty and warm and happy. And I know what you mean about comments. I guess Blogger doesn't know how to fix that. Have a great new week Yvonne. Hugs-Erika

  4. Oh wow. I love those flowers and the dragonfly, too. Great stamps and a wonderful background.

I've had others comment that their comments may be missing. That's why I'm always grateful when people don't moderate their messages and I can verify I've left one before I leave the page.

  14. There's a beautiful golden glow from this background Yvonne, it makes your pretty flowers shine through even more. I've always loved that saying. Great spread for Jo's Hello Spring & Back to Nature with the lovely's of MOO-Mania.
There does indeed seem to be a few gremlins about fingers crossed when they switch over completely with the demise of G+ it may iron out a few of those creases. I'm just hoping it doesn't iron out too much.
