Happy New Year

Happy New Year.

The page was made with a stencils background after I had added a torn picture  from an old calendar. It is a stamped clock and I added TH word quotes.
These two friends are waiting for the clock to strike twelve so they can welcome the  New Year.. They wore their warm woolly scarves as it is going to be a cold winters night.

I will add this last entry for the month to

Tis the seasom or My favourite season
I have really enjoyed this theme Elizabeth.

My lovely family know I like the ALL&create stamps and I was lucky to get some    for Christmas. This is one of them beside my cuppa . I know I will get lots of crafting fun using  them in the coming weeks.

For fun and knowing how I love my cups of tea this large tin cup and saucer was also a gift.
Its sitting  on the kitchen  window ledge  and  is  the right size  to hold   my indoor  parsley plant.
The frost usually gets to the one
 I have in the garden.

I hope I will be able to link up  later  to
T stands for Tuesday and visit with the folk there
Bleubeard and Elizabeth always make us feel very welcome with a drinks related post.

I would  like to wish everyone a very Happy  Healthy and Peaceful 2019.

  10. You have truly outdone yourself this month, dear Yvonne. Your support of Art Journal Journey has been incredible and appreciated more than you will ever know. Your final entry is simply adorable as we count down the hours to the new year. I LOVE your robin and see why you love the duck, too (after seeing your curtains behind the beautiful new herb cup). Thank you beyond measure for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey.

Your darling robin mug filled with your tea (I don't have to guess) is beautiful. You got some lovely stamps, too. Your family picked wisely. And of course, I love your herb garden in a cup. Wonderful gifts all around. BTW, if you are unable to link your T post, I will do it for you.

I want to wish you a warm, peaceful, safe, and joyous new year and 2019, too. I hope it's the best one yet!

  11. Happy New Year and Happy T day Yvonne. I just love those 2 good friends welcoming in the new year. They are adorable. I especially like their scarves. Everything can use a scarf at this time of year. Those ALL and create stamps are some of my favorite too. What a lucky lady you are to get some for Christmas. :) I look forward to seeing your art using them, and I want to wish you a new year filled with lots of love, happiness and peace. Hugs-Erika

  17. HNY, Yvonne. 2019 gonna be your year! Mine's in 2020 when I turn 64 and 16 at same time because I'm a Leap Year baby, then that July my daughter turns 32, so I will be half her age and twice her age at the same time! Hope I live long enough haha! Your journal page is adorable in spades. I need to check out All & create I guess. We have Topflight stamps in USA that carries all those brands. Recently I bought some Darkroom Door and Visual Images for first time. xoxoxo

Thank you for the well wishes you left on my blog. I know you can relate, since you broke your arm just last summer. It's my left also. Thank goodness I'm right handed. I guess I'll figure it all out and soldier on like you did. You're my role model (grin).

Happy T-day and a very Happy New Year! Hugs, Eileen

  24. What a cute page. The robin is probably the one from your mug. (They look so alike!)
Good idea to have parsley in a mug. And when the parsley has been used up, you can make hot chocolate in it.
Wishing you a happy T Day and a healthy and peaceful 2019,

I love your two friends and as you have probably guessed especially the robin in his scarf, he reminds me of the new mug that I got for Christmas off my mum and dad 😁.
