Lets Party
My last Diary Day of the year.
I added more colour this week to an already bright page.
Of course I used stencils and random stamping for the background,
why change my favourite additions to my weekly diary pages.
Hugo and Fifi [PA stamps] are busy making cakes for the New Years Party on Tuesday .
As its nearly New Year's Eve I will link this page to
Bleubeard and Elizabeths theme at
Art Journal Journey
this months theme is.....
Tis the Season or My favourite season.
There will be many gatherings and parties this festive season to celebrate the New Year,
although ours will be a rather quieter event with the family.
I would like to say thank you to everyone who has called in on Fridays to see what I have been creating in my weekly diary...... 52 weeks.... I made it......
your visits and comments have been very much appreciated.

ReplyDeleteAlthough i've missed a Fridays recently you've done a grand job at keeping them coming Yvonne. Will you continue with another Diary in 2019 I wonder.. there will be a massive void on a Friday if not. It's a great party page to close on, hoping you and yours have a wonderful time & wishing you health and happiness for 2019.

It was fun to follow your calendar journal pages this year Yvonne. This is a great way to finish off the year. Did I tell you I picked up one of these earlier this year and I've started some pages so I'll be ready. And thanks so much for the book recommendations. I checked them out on Amazon and they both look like something good. :) Have a great weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to miss Diary Day. This has been so much fun watching you create these wonderful pages that were miniature works of art. I am so glad I was able to see all of them. I've often said it before and will say it one last time, what truly impressed me was how you carried the decorations to the writing page.
ReplyDeleteHugo and Fifi will be the life of the party when they bring those cakes. They are adorable and I love the bright colors you chose. I'm beyond happy that you shared this with us using my theme at Art Journal Journey. You have been a great supporter this month and I thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear friend.
Happy New Year Yvonne. You are celebrating in style with this fabulous spread in your diary. Please keep your inspiration coming and may 2019 be a year full of hope, health and happiness with oodles of creativity and prayers for peace in the world. Hugs Brenda Xxx

Hi Chrissie,
DeleteThis is going to be my last regular weekly diary page. I am not sure that I would be able to keep going weekly for another year. I have a few ideas that I want to try, but no firm plans, as yet.
Yvonne xx
