Guess Who's Coming.... Its Santa
This is our last theme of the year over at Try it on Tuesdays
We do hope you will come and join us and have some Festive Fun.
Please pop over and see what we and our Guest Designer have all been making .
My card is a simple layered card with a TH Santa stamp
The image was water coloured and the extra shading is distress oxide ink.
The wooded deer I covered with gilding wax.
Like most folk I think I have an all time favourite Christmas stamp to use, you may have seen this a few times over the years on my blog and I couldn't resist stamping him up again this year.
Another layered card, this time with an embossed layer.
Watercoloured and trimmed with ribbon.
Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are always very welcome here.
Gorgeous cards, love them both. Hugs, Valerie

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Santa cards! Your first Santa makes me smile, it looks like he having fun delivering presents - ho ho ho ...lol 😉. Your vintage Santa is amazing too, I love the brick background that you created for him - perfect 😁. Thanks for the inspiration and wishing you a wonderful week Yvonne! Big hugs J 😊 x
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards Yvonne!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are incredible. I like them both and they are really nicely colored, too. I can see whythis vintage Santa is a favorite. I have a favorite Santa stamp, too, but mine isn't nearly as lovely as yours.
ReplyDeleteTwo absolutely wonderful cards! We really are zooming towards Christmas now...and seeing these cards, yes, Santa is definitely on his way! I can see why you love the vintage stamp so much and the TH stamp reminds me of a book illustration! Hugs, Chrisxx

I think that's one of the few TH Santa's I haven't got... he looks great here, full of energy. But I confess the second one is far more idea of the man... I'd rather have him coming down the chimney, thank you. Charming nostalgic vintage image, delightfully coloured.

Two fabulous cards Yvonne, love the TH Santa and the way he's framed looks as if he's just seen the little wooden deer embellishment! The brick embossing makes a great background for the traditional Santa.
