A plain green base to start for this weeks diary pages, and after all the snow it had me hoping that spring is actually on its way and that maybe we could get out and about again. Hence the quote I added......
.go out and make things happen
I added as usual some stencils, to add interest to the plain side of the page. The duck and flowers were fussy cut from an old calendar.
I also added a T H bird, we've heard a few birds chirping in the garden recently a sure sign that spring is on its way.
I will also add this page to Art Journal Journey
and Rosie's lovely theme for this time of the year.... Spring.
Have a good Friday and thank you for calling in to see me today

Love the goose and those flowers. What a sunny and bright page. I look outside this morning and it looks like January with all the snow we got. So I really enjoy seeing something not wintery. I am probably starting to sound like I am stuck on repeat! Happy weekend Yvonne. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWhile trying to get my keyboard to work properly on the last post, you have already created your wonderful diary page for the week. That goose is a hoot and of course, the sunflowers signify that spring has truly arrived. I love the composition and the way you carry the images to the calendar side of the page. Thanks for this beauty and for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey, too!
ReplyDeleteawww so cute Ilove the goose and the flowers like Van Gogh and I have the bird myself. great diary pages
ReplyDeleteGoose or duck I'm not sure but which ever it is a delight for sure! 3 days of sunshine this week.....my fingers are crossed for spring though rain & sleet are threatened for the weekend :-(.

Your week 10 diary pages are WONDERFUL! They will bring spring for sure now! I think the birds are always knowing exactly when it is time for spring, so when you already heard birds' twittering it is a good omen for spring!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for joining Rosie's March theme once again! You are a sweetheart as always. Your support is so much appreciated dear Yvonne!

Love the blue and green in the background and the goose among the sunflowers. Our town celebrates goose day every year and this pic reminds me of the that.
ReplyDeleteGreat page!
