Memories

Dogs capture our hearts and  stay in our memories forever.

I have used this napkin before in different ways, but it is one that I really enjoy using.
I have to say I felt much better after my  crafting session today, I needed time to be by myself.
I had been thinking of our old Meg. we said goodbye to her,  this time last year.
All our animals have been special to us over the years
and I'm sure you  animal lovers out there will feel the same way about your animal friends.

On the left are a few photos I took while making the spread.
napkins torn and stuck down on the page

A few areas of random stencils  using oxide inks.

The stamped quote  image,
I knew  I just had to add to this page.

There is new challenge theme for February  over at
Rike has chosen the topic  for this month ' Animals from   A---Z'.

So I will be popping over to join in , its a super new theme

Thank you for stopping by to see me today, you are always very welcome here.

  5. What a lovely tribute to your loving Meg. We often don't realize how important our animals are in our lives until we are faced with losing them. At least you are able to keep her alive in your art and on your blog. This is a fabulous entry for Art Journal Journey, and I, for one am so pleased with this heartwarming first entry there today. Thanks for joining us.

  6. Oh, what a beautiful page! Pets are our best friends (can one person ever be as good as a dog and give full love without questions?) - I know your feelings very well, I lost my dog years ago, but I'm thinking about him yet - he never died in my heart.
Your napkin dogs are wonderful and this quote too! Thank you for such an entry full of feeling linked to Art Journal Journey!

  8. I know exactly what you mean Yvonne. Tomorrow will be one of our previous dog's 18th birthday. I can't believe he has been gone for 4 years now and I still miss him, even with 2 more dogs at home. He was a good boy and animals do So your page really speaks to me and animals do become friends and family. Your page is great! Hugs-Erika
