Dreams and Nightmares

My first share today is this tag for the current theme... 'Add a Quote'.......... over at

The background is coloured  oxide inks . Next , an old stamp embossed with gold powder , some added stencils and finished off with stamps from That's Crafty.

This following  page I  nearly  ripped out of my journal as it caused me all sorts of  nightmares..


A simple start, using  some older inkpads to create a background. Stamps of cats I have had for years , I think they came with a magazine.
So far so good,  but what to add next......
Add a couple of Tim Holtz cats?? by this time I was in complete add as much as you can mode.
I am not good at STOP here, its enough.
Even I can say to myself that this is a rather busy looking page,
 more inks etc. etc. being added.
So I will leave you to make your own minds up about this page, but I will say I did have fun.
The words were computer generated.
I even found a few more cat images  to add from the computer.[digital notes in my sidebar]

    Beautiful tag and journal page! Wow, you have been busy getting creative 😁. I love the pretty dancer on the tag and the layers of stencils and stamps look amazing! I think your cat page is wonderful too, there is so much lovely detail to look - purr-fect ...lol 😉. Happy Sunday! J 😊

    These are beautiful pieces Yvonne. I love the tag-it is quite pretty, and had a good laugh with the cats. ThoseTH cats looks like they just woke up, especially the one on the bottom.     Your tag is beautiful with this brightness of the oxide inks and embossed gold powder - I like the movement of the girl being as large as the plants!
    Your cat page is fantastic! The quote fits perfect to the cat under the quote :)
    I think there is not too much on the page, it's good that you didn't stop earlier, so we have many amazing details to look!

    Oooh I think the cat is having a nightmare with all the cats in all their boxes. It's super-imaginative, Yvonne.
    Your tag is the opposite, calm and peaceful. It's a terrific background with the oxides.
