A new challenge theme begins today over at
'Add a Quote'
Please call over to TioT's to get all the information and see we interpreted this theme.
My quote went onto a layered digital journal page.
I think my lady could be reflecting on how time changes us,
the way we may look and see others.
We still feel the same inside but the way we appear changes as we get older.
I found the quote I used on the internet but couldn't find a link to who may have said it.
'Time does not change people,
Time reveals the true face of people.'
I will also link this Journal Page to Art Journal Journey
where the theme chosen by Erika is... Lets Face it.
Beautiful page and such a wonderful quote! The layers and images are fabulous with the pops of colours 😁. Thanks for the inspiration and wishing you a wonderful week! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Yvonne. And it's a lovely quote. I love how you used so many watches and that beautiful lady. I think that lady is reflecting on how time changes us. Hopefully, we age like good wine and not turn into vinegar. Smile. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteAnd I hit publish and realized I forgot to say thanks for joining in at AJJ for my challenge. It's much appreciated Yvonne.

I really LOVE how you interpreted that quote. It certainly is true that we change over time and it shows most in our faces. Thanks for also sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Erika's theme, too.
ReplyDeleteThe layers here are wonderful Yvonne and I love the quote! Definite changes here on the outside!! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI love anything illustrating 'time' and I love faces so this is a winner with me. Beautifully put together I do like your composition and the colouring is so subtle.
ReplyDeleteYour quote is so true, I love to see drawings of old ladies and men with all the lines of age - so many stories must be woven into those faces, each line a different story.
Hugs, Neet xx
Ooooh, I LOVE your beautiful page, Yvonne! And that quote is perfect, too. Thank you for sharing this with all of us! HUGS, Sharon
