Please pop over Here to see all the details
I was lucky to receive some new crafting goodies from Santa this year, so I decided to use my new stencil and stamp on this journal page.
Distress oxide inks were close to hand and the colours seemed to choose themselves.
The flower head was stamped again, fussy cut and coloured red.
Then the page was altered a little in the computer program I use, adding the words and the bees.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you are having a good day today.
Happy New Year Yvonne! Beautiful page to welcome the new year. Have fun with your new goodies. Hope 2020 will be a good one for you! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bright journal page to start 2020 off...a stunning design xx
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Yvonne. You started with a colorful page in 2020 and I hope to see a lot more of your creations in this new year. Make 2020 a good one and have a lot of fun with the goodies from Santa.

Lovely page.
ReplyDeleteHappy and healthy New Year Yvonne!
A poppy is the very best start into the year, I thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Yvonne, a Happy New Year to you, hugs, Iris
Oh stunning - that poppy (? but yes, I'm going with poppy, if only on the colour!) looks just amazing against the soft background. Lovely to see the new goodies are already in action. I'm still in Christmas hibernation (don't come out fully until after 12th Night on 6th January!), but am trying to do a bit of catching up with people even so. Happy New Year!

Thanks so much for having me as host over at AJJ this month and for joining the theme with such an inspirational page! Hugs, Jo x

ReplyDeleteVery nice Santa gifts. I love the stamp and stencil-I love circles and dots so they would make me happy also. That is a super page to start the new year with, and hopefully those bees will pollinate something so more good things will come to you. Happy 2020 my friend. Hope it is a good one. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteGorgeous page, Yvonne! HAPPY NEW YEAR, my friend!
ReplyDeleteGreat stamp and brilliant stencil - I've had that one in a shopping cart for months, but can't justify it because I have so many other circle stencils, lol. Love the colours you chose - looking forward to Spring. Happy New Year, Yvonne. I hope it's a creative, happy and healthy 2020.

The stencil is great, but that Wild and Free stamp is a beauty. I love what you did with it, too. This is a great first entry using Jo's theme at Art Journal Journey.
