Happy Tuesday and time for tea over at
where each week we are made very welcome with a drink related post
My cuppa was close to hand as I was working on this page. Now I say working what I really mean is getting messy with glue as I tried to stick down the napkin pieces.
Then a stencil was involved to fill the white space, one day I may give myself a shock
and leave it white.
Anyway the animals we having fun making a brew for their friends.
Santa brought me a new fountain pen which was given its first chance to write some words on my journal page. This does need lots more practice, I do not like my own handwriting.
Thank you for calling in today you are all very welcome here.
I will also be sharing my page
at Art Journal Journey and Jo's
theme...... Something New..... my pen.
waue i do love you fine spring pages they are so sweeeet and cute..

Such a beautiful and fun page! I love the tea party the cute animals are having amongst the flowers - perfect 😁. Your new fountain pen looks so pretty and your writing looks fabulous too! I'm the same as you and don't like my writing, I'm always afraid of messing up pages ...lol 😉. Thanks so much for joining in the fun at Art Journal Journey and sending you happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteWould love this page framed Yvonne! Just perfect in every way (and what a WOW pen!) x
ReplyDeleteGood morning, your page is so sweet I really love it-and I do not like white showing either-even when I was quilting I wanted no white. Have fun with your new pen-that's on my new list for this year to try calligraphy
ReplyDeleteHappy T wishes Kathy

My sincere apologies. As your host, I knew I had to show up for T, but it took everything I had to climb out of bed. I am running a fever of 101.8 F (38.8 C). I appreciate you sharing your drink with us this T Tuesday. I love how you used the napkin. And I like your handwriting a lot better than mine. Gorgeous art for AJJ, too, dear.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely page , very sweet and cute , beautiful
ReplyDeleteYour cup matches your page, Yvonne. How pretty. I love the darling characters you've put on top of the background.
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked you don't like your lettering! Until you revealed that it was hand written with your new fountain pen, I (honestly) thought it was a commercial text stamp!
Happy T-day! Eileen xx
I am the same about my handwriting, that I have been told by about a million people how bad it is. But compared to mine, yours looks great. And what an adorable napkin you used. Those animals are the sweetest. I hope it was a great T day and your Wednesday goes well too. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI like your bright cheery artwork: it makes me think of Spring. Lovely coffee mug, too. Happy T-Day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work and it all matches, too.
ReplyDeleteYupp, I can relate with the handwriting. We do it so seldom, the hand forgets!
Happy belated T-day xx

I love how the cornflowers on your page match the color of the flowers on your mug. Such a fun page and a really nice fountain pen. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely fountain pen! Keep practicing!
ReplyDeleteYour mice in the cornflowers are so sweet. I also noticed the colour of your mug is the same as the cornflowers. (Beautiful mug btw)
Sorry for the late comment. We have been helping friends move house (They are now living within walking distance)
Belated happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
I am thrilled by your cute animals oh how beautiful this fairytale world with the great background !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou thought it up great and you can't see the glue!
hugs Elke
Gorgeous post and love the beautiful page.x
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful page. The animals are so cute and I can see that they are having fun.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's beautiful - I love how the flowers hover in and out of view, and the animals are so busy painting the china. I think they must have been responsible for your gorgeous mug, and your snazzy fountain pen is a treat for the eyes! Lovely to see your handwritten sentiment.

Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo happy and sweet page.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely motif with the animals making a drink for their friends! This background is gorgeous and much more beautiful than a white one! I like your handwriting with your new fountain pen!
ReplyDeleteI missed visiting last week...I love how you co-ordinated your page to go with your beautiful mug! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteThis is a very beautiful page Yvonne, I do love the addition of ink upon a journal page. I'm sure you will have many happy hours playing with your new mark making tool, a very nice gift to have received. Hugs Tracey x
ReplyDeleteOh I like your handwriting and your opinion doesn't count! heeheehee I love the little creatures having tea amidst the tall foliage flowers. You are brilliant at doing these scenarios. They always make me think you should have illustrated for Stuart Little or Beatrix Potter and the like. xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab napkin to work with - perfect setting for the tea party! I love writing with a fountain pen but have to watch what paper I use as I hate when the ink bleeds (I don’t like using gesso!)
