Sorry I'm late Mary

I wanted to try a new layering idea on this mixed media digital page.

I had the pile of  pages as a starting point and I hoped that the end page would look like the  images were coming from the page.
I have to say  I need more practise and think  it would be an easier idea using a hands on method, not an old bone shaker of a computer.

Its Tuesday  and this is T day over at
Bleubeard and Elizabeths,, so naturally tea had to be  featured as well.

Mary  poured out  two cups of tea and  set aside a few cup cakes.
Alex hopes he isn't to late,
he had to change the wheels on his bike and  he had to be careful he didn't crack his mums eggs..
Oh dear my imagination is going  sideways, its got to be this old  laptop I'm using ,  its so slow I have to much thinking time.
I hope you have a good day and thank you for stopping by to see me.
I will visit with you as soon as I can.

  2. Oh I like the page the way it is, but I know when you want to do something and it doesn't happen quite as hoed it is a bit of personal let down. I hope Mary lets Alex have some tea and cakes since he is late, but maybe she won't mind and just be happy for company. Happy T day Yvonne and I hope the new year is going well. Hugs-Erika

A happy T-day to you and may your computer be up, soon - though... if that slow one makes you come up with such nice stories....hmmm ;-)...

  7. I love it when your imagination runs rampant. It makes for a clever story. Those vintage images you used are clever. It took me TWICE to see the egg wheels. That was clever indeed. I hope Alex made it for tea in time, and all turned out well in the end. I really like this technique, but I also look forward to seeing you get your computer back soon. Thanks for sharing this gem with us for T this Tuesday, dear Yvonne. And thanks again for the gifts you sent.

  8. Such a fun page and I enjoyed your storytelling ๐Ÿ˜. The pretty cascade of pink butterflies caught my eye and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he gets the eggs home in one piece ...lol ๐Ÿ˜‰. I hope your computer is all fixed soon. Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x

  12. Fun story and page, Yvonne. Eggs for wheels? What a great image. How nice that Mary waited. She certainly had plenty of reading material to while away the time.

    Happy T-day! Eileen xx
