White space or Colourful Grunge
is the theme for the latest challenge at
Now many friends calling in here know that white space is something I have trouble with,
but I have tried to leave some on this page, There is a bit of grunge as well with the shaded edges and random stamping.
Using the same flower stamp I made this single layer Birthday card as well
That is the end to my memorable crafting session, I did leave a bit of white space
although I will go back sometime to the journal and cover the white with..........grungy colour.
Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are always welcome here.
Try it on Tuesdays.....

ReplyDeleteGorgeous page Yvonne. Yes, white space is very difficult. I think we learnt at school always to paint over the whole page, right up to the edges! You did very well here, hugs, Valerie

ReplyDeleteThose vivid flower petals look all the more glorious for being surrounded by white space - they really seem to glow. Lovely on the page and on the card - it's a very tempting stamp!

It's not as easy as it looks to create a one layer card, when we love layers it's hard not to add that little bit more but this is stunning Yvonne it needs nothing more. I'd be so proud to have created this. Thank you for sharing Hugs Tracey xx
ReplyDeleteBoth your creations as beautiful, Yvonne. You used a gorgeous stamp! Kisses!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd say you combined white space and colorful grunge - a twofer! That's probably the only way I could play IF I get time to. I hear ya concerning the white space. This is a beautiful journal page and a lovely card. Hope you are doing well, XOX
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the white space!

You have used my favourite VI stamp here and love how you managed to keep them CAS. It's one of those stamps that you can go cas or totally grungy. Both so very pretty. Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog.
