How would it be if you were to be Queen for a day.
I think I would pass on this offer, it must be really stressful
being in the public eye day after day.
Anyway I have made another fun page for Wendy's Having Fun theme at
The page began with a colour mop up base, pieces of washi tape
and stamping. I re- stamped the birds and fussy cut them as they didn't stamp
so good first time on the page. I also used a pen to elongate the tulip stamp to balance the page.
The words were added in the computer program I use.
Thank you for calling in to see me today.
I hope you have a good weekend.
Gorgeous - I love your ideas and how clever you always build up your pages! Another wonderful entry for the April topic dear Yvonne! THANK YOU! I hope you have good weather and you can enjoy the trip!ReplyDelete
This is a stunner, Yvonne. Love the tulip, the washi and the birds. The subtle colour wash is gorgeous. Perfect journal page :-)ReplyDelete
Lovely pages Yvonne. I'm not sure I would like to be queen and have to get dressed up and wear fancy shoes and carry a handbag....I'll stay me! Have a great weekend, hugs, ValerieReplyDelete
I was drawn to the beautiful tulip, then fell in love with the cute birds. Great fussy cutting, too. I really like the balance of the composition. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey honoring Wendy's theme.ReplyDelete
I love it, Yvonne! I don't know how you get such pretty mop up pages. The birds are delightful. You colored them beautifully. I therefore dub thee Queen for the Day ;-) Eileen xxReplyDelete
Queen for a day - this cute bird is able to manage this, because she stands with too strong legs on the ground!ReplyDelete
Beautiful page with gorgeous colors and a funny scenery!
Happy weekend! Rike
Beautiful page! I love your mop up background with that pretty flower stamp and those little birds are super cute too 😁. I hope you had a lovely Easter and enjoyed the sunny weather, it's turned colder here and we have rain showers and sunshine today, more rain than sunshine though ...lol 😉. Happy Friday and Weekend! J 😊 xReplyDelete

Super fun page and great ideas with the crazy birds and long tulip. I like the words too and enjoyed reading how you made this.ReplyDelete
I would hate to be queen for even one day as I would want the option of not going out or going out and I don't think she has that.
Just love this page, the birds are cute and the tulip stamp is amazing. Thank you again for yet another fabulous entry for AJJ. Hope you enjoyed your break.ReplyDelete
Ha! If I were Queen, it would be the rule to NOT be seen in public. Fun page, you hit the mark. Thinking about trying to do one tomorrow - one hour of play - wish me luck, lol xoxoxoReplyDelete

A fabulous page, love your background with the stamped tulip and those quirky birds are such fun.ReplyDelete
Yup, I'm with you - the stress of constant publicity, and also too much responsibility and too many duties... and way too many people all the time! I'll stick to incognito and peaceful creativity! Love your bold colours and that fabulous tulip, and the birds made me smile.ReplyDelete
