Queen for the day

How would it be if you were to be Queen for a day.
I think I would  pass on this offer, it must be  really stressful
being in the public eye day after day.
Anyway I have made another fun page for Wendy's  Having Fun theme at

The page began with a colour mop up base, pieces of washi tape
and  stamping. I re- stamped the birds and fussy cut them as they didn't stamp
so good first time on the page.  I also used a pen to elongate the tulip stamp to balance the page.
The words were added in the computer program I use.

Thank you for calling in to see me today.
I hope you have a good weekend.

  4. I was drawn to the beautiful tulip, then fell in love with the cute birds. Great fussy cutting, too. I really like the balance of the composition. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey honoring Wendy's theme.

  6. Queen for a day - this cute bird is able to manage this, because she stands with too strong legs on the ground!
Beautiful page with gorgeous colors and a funny scenery!

  12. Super fun page and great ideas with the crazy birds and long tulip. I like the words too and enjoyed reading how you made this.
I would hate to be queen for even one day as I would want the option of not going out or going out and I don't think she has that.

  17. Yup, I'm with you - the stress of constant publicity, and also too much responsibility and too many duties... and way too many people all the time! I'll stick to incognito and peaceful creativity! Love your bold colours and that fabulous tulip, and the birds made me smile.
