Sunshine on a Winter day.

On a cold snowy winters day like we are having just now  there is nothing that can cheer me up more,
than spending some time in my craft room

I had used this page as a mop up a few days ago .
This morning I called in to see what the theme for the month was over at
its.... The Colour Yellow
chosen for us by Rike.

Out with more yellow paints, some washi tapes, a scrap of ribbon.  a bit of random stamping as well as the main image[AAll&create stamp] I used on a piece torn paper.

Below on the left is a photo of the page when I was getting into  my add more mode .
You can see above that I only added the bow and a strip more washi tape. I had words with myself to leave it alone.

However...
I was tempted to play a little  with some digital additions
which you can see in the right hand side photo.
I leave it to you as which you prefer.

Thank you for calling in,
if you have the cold, snow and ice, I hope you are safe and warm.

  1. What a lovely cheerful sunny page Yvonne. Yellow is not one of my go for colours, but yours does look like ray of sunshine on a cold windy day.

  2. Beautiful warm and very striking page Yvonne - just the tonic for a wintry cold day - I Love it!
I'm not a yellow person but I'm starting to think that maybe it all depends on the shade of yellow
that is used as your yellows are really gorgeous.

  5. OH WOW - this is a fantastic yellow page! Funny that you already had a page with yellow colour on it before you saw the new theme. Wonderful added things in yellow, all variations are fabulous - but I prefer the one with this cute bee!

  8. Do you think you have added enough yellow? 😊😎
This is terrific, Yvonne, I could even like yellow now, maybe we will all love it by the end of this month.
I just love the torn paper with the flower.
I like that you didn't listen to yourself and added more and I like them both.

  17. Is it true? Have I finally caught up? I am in love with this beautiful yellow sunny and warm page you created for Rike's theme at Art Journal Journey. I especially like the one without the added digital effects. Both are nice, but the warmth of the first one shines in my opinion. Thanks for joining us at AJJ, dear Yvonne.

  20. Beautiful sunshiny page! All that yellow really makes me smile and the design is so pretty with the layers and stamping of the single flower - amazing 😁. I hope you had a lovely week, we've been busy with a burst water pipe, luckily it was in one of our outside buildings and it is all sorted now but it wasn't much fun without the heating in these cold temperatures ...lol 😉. Wishing you a happy weekend! J 😊 x

  25. Your yellow is so gorgeous. I love the color and orange as well. But I always tend to gravitate to the cool blues and purples. Wonder why? xoxo
