Coffee, sunny colours and a cuppa

First of all I will  say hello to friends who stop by to see me to day
and the folk from
where our hosts always make us very welcome with a drinks related post.
I hope you like the digital collage I made for all you coffee lovers.

I have also  created another bright page page today using yellow as my main colour choice.

As  you can see I had my cuppa close by as I was creating this page.
I was also watching a Craft Chanel  TV program that was featuring Jane Davenport crafting items and also Jane herself was demonstrating the items and showing  her journals.

The base layers of my page were already in progress and I had found  the silk flower and doily I wanted to use. So I  got out one of her stamps, fussy cut  the image and added it to the center of the flower.
The words were torn from a sheet of washi paper .

I will be linking this page to Art Journal Journey
where Rike's theme for this month is.......The colour yellow.

I hope you all have a good day today.

  8. First, that digital coffee page is out of this world. Both romantic and invigorating, it makes me feel warm when I see it. I especially like the old silverware and the coffee beans. Great attention to detail.

Sunny yellow is perfect for my attitude. Your lovely journal page is perfect for Rike's theme at Art Journal Journey. I love that you are SO supportive of AJJ. I like how you textured the background and added even more layering with the flower and the doily. This is a wonderful entry, dear Yvonne. Thanks too for sharing both your art and your tea with us for T this Tuesday.

  19. Beautiful page you created. I'm not a fan of coffee, but I love the smell of freshly ground beans. Your sunny page is more to my liking especially since my area is in for another bout of sleet and freezing rain. Happy T Day
