A play day page to share with you today.
You can tell it had a mopped up area where I sprayed water on the flower stencil, there was to much ink to waste.
Next I stamped the girl in the bottle [AALL&create image], using watercolours and oxide inks for shading..
Most folk will know I am not happy leaving white areas so I added more stencils, using yellow as my colour choice so I could join the folk at
for Rike's theme of... The Colour Yellow.
There was a couple of hours between taking the photos , and you can see the difference the light made to the colours.
In case you wonder I was having a coffee[tea for me] with a friend in the time gap, not being good and tackling the household chores.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope
you have a good weekend.
That's a lovely journal page Yvonne, the lady in the bottle is a great stamp. Drinking tea/coffee is much better than doing housew***. I just came back from a 2 hour walk, and now I need to put my feet up. It's sunny here, but the wind is cold. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteGreat stamping and journal here with awesome designing.x
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.x
That is a cool image and it makes a cool part of your page Yvonne. I love the mopped up background and the contrast between the roses and the rectangles. I love it. Happy weekend. Hugs-Erika

Wonderful page, Yvonne. I love the sentiment. You have such marvelous stamps and make such magic with them. I went in search of aallandcreate and found some products are available from Simon Says Stamp in the US - and in most of the rest of the world - but not in Mexico ;-( Eileen xx
ReplyDeleteThis came together beautifully Yvonne, fabulous mix of images and colours. Happy Sunday xxx
ReplyDeleteI love your mysterious face in the bottle! The whole page is just stunning and the contrast of colored shapes and clear black lines is fabulous! The quote is wonderful too!
ReplyDeleteThank you for another great piece to my theme at AJJ! I appreciate it!
Wish you a happy Sunday! Rike xx
Such a great stamp that and I adore how you used it here on the mop-up page! The added shadows add real depth! Like you I am not good with leaving white space, but I have to say the first version looked good too, but yess the additional stencilling has given it even more depth!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, and I recognize the feeling about chores lol, - the only way I get them done is when I add them to my planner...
A great page Yvonne, I like the extra stencilling, adds more definition to the bottle image. Having a cuppa with a friend is much better thank housework any day.

ReplyDeleteHi, Yvonne. I'm so late catching up with your posts, I do hope you get some kind of notice of my comments as late as they are! That bottle is speaking to me, as well as the quote and the yummy textures. Gorgeous! I shall move forward each post from here .
