Dawn


"The dawn awakens my sleeping soul".

An 8 x8 inch journal page for Elke's theme of.....
 Landscapes of the soul..... this month  at........



This is a photo of the base layers.
A watercolour wash, then layers of stencils  using oxide inks.
The flower border is pieces from a torn napkin.
The words are from  new set of word stamps I couldn't resist buying [Lynne's Affirmations].

The dictionary snippets, birds and the sunburst were added in my digital program. [Notes in my sidebar].

  8. I haven't tried the oxide inks yet but I am seeing so many beautiful projects. I love all the texture from the stencils and the digital elements. So pretty that it reminds me of someplace that I would love to be with a good book.

  13. Will you ever run out of gorgeous napkins? This and your oxide ink layer were a marvelous start. When you did your digital magic, it turned the entire piece into a masterpiece. It's great for AJJ.
