For you

Today I am sharing a card with you, made using a Tim Holtz paper stack.
I stopped buying papers nearly two years ago and still the pile never seems to get smaller.
I made a textured base, using an embossing folder and spray inks, then layered it up distressing the edges with the old blunt scissors,
I even fussy cut  a piece to add interest to the bottom corner.
As yet there is no sentiment, this way it could be used for any  occasions,
when I need a card ready and waiting..

It is the second week of the current challenge at Try it on Tuesdays,
and the Top 5 winner from the last challenged will be announced there  today.

Thank you for calling to see what I have been making
, I always appreciate the comments you leave for me.

  2. A stunning layout Yvonne and the papers are really beautiful, especially the bottom left where you have decoupaged the flower.
Like you I have lots and lots of paper too.....in fact I am getting a bit more picky abut the new releases that I purchase too.........or maybe thats because I am running out of space in my craft room !!!!

    Have a great week

  17. I only ever bought 4 sheets for a specific project & a mixed pack of Indian papers from Lakeland .....I still seem to accumulate more though!

This lively creation reminds me that I need to make some blank "all occasions" cards too....

  20. Really love this card ... just gorgeous, and you are right - ready for any occasion. I know what you mean about the paper pile -- I'm putting a stop on buying when I get unpacked and see how things go ... ha ha ... probably on and on for years! Thanks for stopping by my blog. hugs, Donna

  22. Beautiful card. Love all of the different elements. I have boxes of paper and I can't use it up. I could kick myself now for using it sparingly!!! You know....keeping it for that special project! lol!
