Today I am sharing a card with you, made using a Tim Holtz paper stack.
I stopped buying papers nearly two years ago and still the pile never seems to get smaller.
I made a textured base, using an embossing folder and spray inks, then layered it up distressing the edges with the old blunt scissors,
I even fussy cut a piece to add interest to the bottom corner.
As yet there is no sentiment, this way it could be used for any occasions,
when I need a card ready and waiting..
It is the second week of the current challenge at Try it on Tuesdays,
and the Top 5 winner from the last challenged will be announced there today.
Thank you for calling to see what I have been making
, I always appreciate the comments you leave for me.
If you like to, you can link it also to FRIENDS meet FRIENDS.

A stunning layout Yvonne and the papers are really beautiful, especially the bottom left where you have decoupaged the flower.
ReplyDeleteLike you I have lots and lots of paper too.....in fact I am getting a bit more picky abut the new releases that I purchase too.........or maybe thats because I am running out of space in my craft room !!!!
Have a great week

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Love all of the different elements. I have boxes of paper and I can't use it up. I could kick myself now for using it sparingly!!! You know....keeping it for that special project! lol!
