A path through the woods for AJJ

The theme for March at Art Journal Journey
 hosted by Chris is....
''If you go down to the woods''.
When I saw Chris's  page I immediately remembered  some cards I had previously made
,that had an image of a little girl,
who, for me just had to be little Red Riding Hood.
So my first offering is this hybrid mixture
of my own embossed base layer [Crafters Companion]
, a card revisited and finished off digitally in my Craft Studio.

This is the card I made back in 2014 when I was on Sheena Douglas's design team. All the stamps used  were from one of her sets and coloured with paints and distress inks.  The originals were all sent to Sheena, but I have  photos  and it seems a shame not to be using them.

Thank you for calling by to see me today. I always appreciate the comments you leave for me.

  16. Any time you can recycle art, I love it. Your beautiful card looks even better now, since the trees seem to have blossomed. And the little hooded girl is just perfect for us to follow into the woods.

  17. Your drawing is so sweet. It brings out that inner child in me, though I cannot help but think that the Big Bad Wolf is waiting for her. Right now, she is happily strolling through the pretty woods. Repurposing art...that is a great idea. Dear post. genie
