Summertime.... at TioT's

Our new theme at
 Try it on Tuesdays is.....
Summertime
Please pop over for all the details and see how we have all interpreted the theme.
We are sure you will have  fun with this topic and as always everything you create is up to yourselves, as long as you use the theme.

This is how my page began, with bookprint scraps left over from our last theme, second impressions  using a stencil and  an excess of yellow distress ink, which when spritzed with water   and finally smooshed around gave me the yellow base I was looking for.

The images were added digitally together with the words.

I will also link this journal page to Erika's theme
When its hot  at

Thank you for calling in and however you spend your day,
I hope it will be a good one for you.

  3. This is such a beautiful summery page Yvonne. I love the clock in the background. It reminds me how you have to enjoy the days as they won’t last forever. Sadly. And the blooms are beautiful too. Perfect for AJJ also and I much appreciate you joining the challenge. Hugs Erika

  15. This certainly looks hot and summery Yvonne. I like the background you made, it sits perfectly with the numbers and the floral display you added to it. It reminds me of my favourite Distress Ink colours in yellows and oranges which I often use myself. Love it!
    Hugs, Neet xx

  16. Such a pretty bouquet I always opt for yellows and oranges when I pick up a bunch for Mom. Your mix of colour is just perfect with your background and always rewarding to use up those scraps. A really delightful journal page Yvonne.
