T day musings

Hello to everyone who calls in , I hope you are having a great day.
This is another one of my journal pages, started in the normal messy way, then finished in the digital computer program I use.

Paint, stencils and stamps were used and this is how it actually looks,

However as its T day over at
Bleubeard and Elizabeths, no excuse was needed to have a play...... it goes with out saying the cup of tea was close by.

My lady is deep in thought stirring her tea, I wonder what she could be dreaming about.
She must be thinking about  somewhere peaceful, a beautiful garden  where the only noise would be the buzzing of the insects and may be the fluttering noise of butterfly wings.
Well I wish I was there, its still raining here and cold. Its hard to  recall how hot its been recently.
Sight is a wonderful gift and one to be treasured.
What we see for real, what we think we see could look totally different to someone else.

I will be linking this page  with...

Moo Mania and More    .....the theme is Butterflies
and adding a reminder for the Try it on Tuesdays theme....Wish you were here.
I will also link to Gill's theme..... Anything with eyes    at Art Journal Journey, if the folk over there don't  think I have strayed to far from the theme.
our eyes may be closed but we can still see things in our .......    ' minds eye'.'

Thank you for stopping by, you are always welcome here

  4. Lots and lots of eyes on here Yvonne - so many I loss count. It doesn't matter if they are closed or I can't see them - they are all 'things' that have eyes - I love this!
Even before you added the lady, your original page was stunning - and then the digital additions made it doubly stunning! Love the image of the lady, so dreamy and fits in perfectly on your page.
Thanks again for another beauty and sharing at AJJ.
Hope it warms up a little and stops raining.. Gill xx

  5. That is a fabulous page without the digital addition Yvonne. But adding the cup of tea is really a super addition. It would make a wonderful add design for tea. Perfect for T day. Hope yours is going well. Hugs-Erika

  6. I interpreted Gill's prompt as anything that has eyes, not that the eyes must be open. I loved the background. The flowers reminded me of Chris's poppy she used a few days ago. This is a beautiful page and absolutely perfect for Gill's theme at Art Journal Journey.

I love how you can go from paint, sprays, stencils and modeling paste to a digital addition to your page. You have (ad use) the best of both worlds. The images on your computer show how well you put these together AND have a lovely mug of tea that is similar to the background you created for your journal page. Thanks beyond belief for this wonderful look into your craft room with your beautiful mug of tea and your journal page you shared with us for T this Tuesday, dear Yvonne.

  7. Lovely artwork and photo. I like your vintage tea lady. It's still warm where I am, even with rain in the forecast for today. (The "cold" rains won't happen for another month or so here.) Happy T-Day!

  8. I forgot to mention that the bug in the photo rotates on the pole. I've seen it rotate at least 180 degrees, but this day, it rotated less than 90 degrees. I think the wind has something to do with it.

  10. Wonderful page, Yvonne. I don't think you strayed at all. Gill's theme is "anything with eyes." It doesn't say they have to be open 😉

    Happy T-day! Eileen xx

  16. Doesn't that look on your lady describe sitting and having a cup of tea perfectly? There's just something about tea that makes you slow down. Your page is a perfect example. Happy T Day.

  19. Your lady does look lost in thought amidst her dreams of summer flowers and butterflies. We're getting a bit of a break in the heat here, with highs today only expected to reach the low 90s. I like the heat; it's the cold I complain about. Happy T Day, a day late :)
