One stamp... two pages and tea

Hello everyone who calls in to see me today.
I am still experimenting with some new stamps,
so I will add a reminder for the Try it on Tuesdays challenge theme....
Something old , something new that as another week to run.
I am  also  trying to use up some very inky  backgrounds  in my journal.
I added some stencils on this first  page.

I cannot remember when  that pink shade was used, I obviously didn't like it at the time and added  more ink to cover it.  Anyway , I stamped the image again adding extra  fussy cut  flowers.
Texture paste through a stencil to add some texture then  some washi tape
All  the shading on both pages  is water colours and distress oxides.

As its Tuesday and I am off to say hello to friends over at
 Bleubeard and Elizabeths

We are always made very welcome with a drinks related post.
My Tea reference photo was taken on Saturday when I began creating the page in my previous post.

I have also been using the computer to make a digital journal page.
No I haven't gone over to the  dark   other  side and changed my favourite brew,
I do enjoy  an occasional cup of coffee.
Said she sipping a cup of tea as she writes this post.

Thank you for calling in today and I hope you have a happy day.

  5. I am like the others. I'm in love with that bloom stamp. I can see how useful it would be. I also like how you used stencils in both these renditions: one using inks and one using texture paste. Fabulous art both places.

I adore your hearts mug. It is so colorful and romantic. Speaking of romantic, that digital page you created honoring coffee is so precious. It is downright flawless.

Thanks for sharing your incredible art and your tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear Yvonne.

  10. Fabulous pages, Yvonne! I love that flower stamp. I'm guessing it's a Tim Holtz. I love the versatility of the stamp that you've illustrated.

I lived on the dark side for quite a few years. Now I hardly go there, thanks largely to the T-ladies, art like yours, and the many challenges the ladies have introduced me to. I'm so happy to know you.

    Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

  12. You always make the most marvellous backgrounds and instead of leaving them as "too good to use" (as I tend to do) you add to them to make terrific pages.
I love all three here especially the green flower one and then of course I love the coffee one and yes, of course coffee can help and I also love seeing your pretty cup next to your sketchbook and art materials which makes the whole thing come to life.

  14. Oh what a great stamp. I love what you have done with it.
Your digital page is lovely too. I am like you, not much of a coffee person, but I occasionally enjoy a cup of coffee. You are right: coffee helps.
    Happy T-Day,
    Lisca

  15. Lovely sunny flowers. Is the young woman drinking coffee dreaming of Spring and trying not to listen to the weather dudes talk about ice and snow for the weekend? Oh, wait, that’s me with my cup of tea. I’m not a coffee drinker. Hate the taste but love the smell. Go figure. Happy T Day

  16. Loved looking at your two pieces using the same stamp and the fabulous contrasts. Coffee is my go to drink with an occasional fruit tea in the afternoons so your gorgeous digital page resonates with me. Xxx
