I am also trying to use up some very inky backgrounds in my journal.
I added some stencils on this first page.
I cannot remember when that pink shade was used, I obviously didn't like it at the time and added more ink to cover it. Anyway , I stamped the image again adding extra fussy cut flowers.

ReplyDeleteI am like the others. I'm in love with that bloom stamp. I can see how useful it would be. I also like how you used stencils in both these renditions: one using inks and one using texture paste. Fabulous art both places.

ReplyDeleteYou always make the most marvellous backgrounds and instead of leaving them as "too good to use" (as I tend to do) you add to them to make terrific pages.
ReplyDeleteI love all three here especially the green flower one and then of course I love the coffee one and yes, of course coffee can help and I also love seeing your pretty cup next to your sketchbook and art materials which makes the whole thing come to life.
Love your pages today!!! The coffee one would be my favorite as I am so totally addicted to the brew :)

Lovely sunny flowers. Is the young woman drinking coffee dreaming of Spring and trying not to listen to the weather dudes talk about ice and snow for the weekend? Oh, wait, that’s me with my cup of tea. I’m not a coffee drinker. Hate the taste but love the smell. Go figure. Happy T Day

Your not so new stamp is lovely - I particularly love the way you used it on the second page, taking parts of it to highlight and the texture paste looks fab! Great colour themes, too :-)
