Stored visions

A page for Alison's theme .......Geometric shapes

I did  take a photo in this page's early stages.
I used my distress ink pads in various shades of blue and created a background, with a little random stamping.   At this stage it sat on my desk for a couple of days , I had a complete blank about how to continue.

What happened next.....mounting and layering the bare winter  trees [ C.I. pictures] followed by   even more circles.
The words at the bottom of the page were computer generated.

I chose the word 'vision'   but when I started this page  I had no idea how this page was going to look .
It was  seeing   beautiful winter morning photos on  my friend  Valeries  blog the other day  I remembered I had these tree pictures and looked them out.

The new Challenge theme at.......Moo Mania and More
was announced this week
..... Cold and Frosty Colours.
I will join in over there as well.

I think we all gather our inspiration from many places
and maybe we don't realise that we  are storing it away , its there in our minds .
Only some days its harder to find than others.
Do you get days like this?

Thank you for stopping by your visit is always very much appreciated.

  5. I certainly do get days like that, Yvonne - I think we do store images and words and suddenly, they come to us when we're ready to receive them. I have - and love - those trees. Haven't stamped many trees yet this year. This looks amazing and the digital words are fab! This is a wonderful page.

  7. I love the squares but even more so the circles. What a cool page Yvonne. Yup, I think inspiration comes from many places but hits us often when we aren't really looking for anything in particular. One of those mysterious but exciting things. Happy Friday I am guessing by the time you read this.

  8. You created a gorgeous page, a wonderful blue background and fabulous circles for the beautiful photos of trees! Our inspiration comes on different ways, it's the best to let it flow and then - mostly over night - it is coming :)
I also get days like this - waiting for a new inspiration. But suddenly it happens :)

  10. What an incredible journal page, Yvonne. I adore the various circles, and how you carried them onto the page after you added the trees. I love it. I often see images, techniques, and ideas I store away in my head. Later, something else triggers it and everything comes together. You created a beautiful entry that was a perfect example. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey, too.

  11. Thank you. Admiring this spread gave me an idea for my own, if I can find time to make it. Love how you have done the stamped squares - I have some very old Leave Memories solid square stamps and also thought of a cool Christmas card to do. You are my Lucky Charm today! xoxoxo

  14. Beautiful page! The frosty colours and wintry images looks wonderful with the square and circles in the background 😁. If I get days when I'm not sure what to do creatively, I always play around and create a background, it always works for me ...lol 😉. As I do art journaling, I always tend to have a list of pages to create from things I see and do which inspires me too, although they don't all get created ...lol 😀. Wishing you a very happy weekend! J 😊 x
