I have been having a rummage in a box of material scraps
and decided to use a few of the pieces to create this 6 x 6 inch Kraft page for Alison's
Geometric shapes theme at....
I used a square cotton scrap for the bottom layer,
next a woolen plaid vaguely looking square.
Then a slightly rectangle shaped muslin scrap , which I edged with distress ink and yes.
again the flower image of my now well used and not so new stamp. [All&create].
Looking at the page as I write this post, I have just realised
that I have stuck it to the page upside down.
Maybe its telling me it needs to go back into the packet for a well deserved rest.
Thank you for calling in today, you are always very welcome here.
Love how you used the textiles, ad the glorious colours - fantastic page! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

We would never have known your lovely piece was upside down had you not told us. I simply adore how you stamped on fabric and used distress ink for color. I love the layering of all the squares and slight rectangles. This is amazing and so impressive how you pulled these fabrics out of your saved box. Thank you for choosing these materials and creating this for Alison's theme at Art Journal Journey.

Yummy page, Yvonne. It makes me think of sunshine, sherbet, sunflowers and springtime. "Bloom" was my word for last year. I wish I'd thought of this ;-) Eileen
