This is the last of the projects I had started making in advance before we went away .
I made a mixed media piece with some digital additions.
Beginning with card and some torn book paper.
Antique linen distress ink for shading.
It takes no guessing for those that know me well, the stencils were used next.
On the left are a couple of photos showing the stages I completed in the conventional crafting way.
I had to finish my card using digital additions.
Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are always very welcome here.

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card! How you arranged the book paper with the pretty stenciling is amazing; I love that stencil by the way, so pretty 😁. The orange flowers add a lovely pop of colour and your digital additions are perfect, that's a great quote! I hope you aren't going too stir crazy with those splints, just over a week to go ...lol 😉. Enjoy your week! J 😊 x

ReplyDeleteGorgeous digital piece Yvonne. Those orange flowers really pop off the page. Good thing you are so productive and had so many pages done or started. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteIt's always a joy to see what you make each fortnight for this challenge. The fun part is watching as you design hybrid pieces. The flowers add so much and the two frames are simply note worthy. I am truly impressed.

This is a beautiful card - I love how you combine your art with digital additions! Our post is also erratic since one of our stairways has closed- we think the postie may be saving up our post - something that should have arrived on Monday still isn't here! Hugs,Chrisx
