This time I am sharing one of my mixed media journal spreads.
This is the base of the background, scraps of book pages, random stamping and some stencilling.
I used paler colour of ink sprays this time, using a soft tissue to remove the excess and spread the colours around.

Quite a number of the additions to these pages
are scraps of G45 papers
After I had taken the photos and loaded them on the computer, I realy thought that the spiral with the unpainted paper looked a bit odd,. So into to my Craft Studio to add a joining strip and if you look carefully at the difference to this side of the page, there are a couple of shaddowy images. {Mischief Circus].
Thank you for calling to see me today, I always appreciate the time you take to leave me a comment.
Terrific spread Yvonne with wonderful images to admire.

Gotta LOVE those old cars. Now THOSE are cars I could work on, unlike how cars are made today. I also liked the background you created, and how well everything fit together in the end. I sometimes create backgrounds, and the background either detracts from the finished piece, or gets completely covered over in the "good" parts. Love this!
ReplyDeleteFabulous project. The background looks amazing. Love all of the different elements.

ReplyDeleteThios is amazing. Once again, you are using things I have never heard of...like the ink sprays. I have never heard of them but would love to investigate trying to get some so I could play around. You are so talented and your artful creations continue to awe me and make me want to attempt some of your techniques. This one is so much fun to look at and see all the different pieces of the story it tells. Your work always puts a smile on my face. Happy day to you. You have certainly gotten mine off to a happy start. genie
