Do you love me?


Happy Valentines Day.

A mixed media journal page to share with you today.


This is how it all began with the base layers.
Using Brusho powders and distress inks until I was happy with the colours. I added some torn music
 and some random stamping.
 The large heart is printed and fussy cut. this had been a project I made quite some time ago and I always keep the photos I take of the finished pieces.
 The flowers and birds[more fussy cutting]
 are Paper Artsy stamps. I used paints to colour these images.

I will be joining the folk over at
where Hazel's theme for this month is--If music be the food of love.

    My weekend company is finally asleep, so I thought I'd stop by to see what I've missed. I hope your rugby games were as exciting as my weekend.

    I really like this, and those birds are so well colored and fussy cut. I like the sentiment, too. Never thought about using it, although once I saw it, I wanted to smack my head! This is a lovely piece.

    This is precious. I would love to have received this as a Valentine. The yellows are so perky and make me feel so happy. The little birds are just sososooso cute and I love the way you cut out your flowers. Everything about this makes me smile.
