The girl in the blue dress

I have just managed to finish a digital page that I am reasonably happy with
for this weeks theme -- Violin,  over at
A few ended up in the computer trash can, one I have added to my play blog,
if you are interested  you can find it here.
The page was layered up using  my own and elements from Mischief Circus kits.
The quote is by Santayana.

I think she may fit Hazel's challenge theme  If music be the food of love-- a
Art Journal  Journey as well.
Thank you for calling to see me today, your comments are always appreciated.

  3. She's really charming - love those stars woven in to her dress and the lovely soft background. (I'm afraid the words are Santayana not Shakespeare - sorry, can't bite my tongue on Shakespeare!).

    1. OOPS, I found the quote from a search and in good faith added it to the page. However, the thing about digital work is that I was able to shadow it out. Thanks Alison for letting me know.

  18. OH my goodness, Yvonne... She is gorgeous. You should really be happy with the way this piece turned out for you. The blue is so pretty and she is holding that violin like it is time to go on stage. The hairdo is lovely, and the people in the background dancing add the effect touch. Now, I need to give this a try.
